What Exactly is Endermologie?

If you’re wondering what LPG Endermologie actually is, let me break it down for you.

The technique was developed in 1986 by Louis Paul Guitay, a French engineer who wanted to make physical therapy treatments shorter and more effective. After receiving extensive physiotherapy to soften scars from a car accident, Guitay developed a mechanical device to assist therapists treating the soft tissues of the body.

Primarily used to soften scars in burn patients, the extensive health and beauty benefits of the LPG Endermologie technique were soon realised.

Key to LPG’s success is the unique, patented technology backed by 145 scientific studies and 80 medical publications. Used in more than 100 countries by physiotherapists, medical clinics and spas, Endermologie is non-invasive and 100% natural.

How does it work?

The technique works via mechanical stimulation of the skin and underlying connective tissue (fascia) to stimulate cellular activity.

A specially-designed hand-held massaging head gently moves over the body delivering suction and gentle kneading. By delicately manipulating the skin and fascia, Endermologie naturally increases blood flow, stimulates the lymphatic system and activates cellular regeneration.

At Santé, we use the latest generation LPG Endermologie machine, the Cellu M6 Alliance, which offers a more efficient and precise treatment. During treatment of the body, clients wear their own specialised Endermowear body stocking which allows for deeper tissue work and a more pleasant experience.

A TGA and FDA approved Category 1 Medical Device, the machine features the Alliance Skin Identity sensor which adapts precisely to each individual skin type. This means a more tailored treatment with enhanced intensity and better tissue mobilisation whilst completely respecting the integrity of the skin.

More than skin deep

Although Endermologie works on the skin, it triggers physiological responses deep down.

Stimulating a cascade of effects from the superficial to the deep, the treatment nourishes your entire system promoting vibrant health and revealing inner radiance.

The health and beauty benefits are numerous and range from lymphatic stimulation, increased blood flow and myofascial release to toned skin, reduced wrinkles and smoothed cellulite.
